Is there a hotel shuttle to get us from and to the Airport?

The Shuttle service we recommend is Mears Transportation 855-463-2776 and leaves MCO airport about every 20-30 minutes. When you arrive at the airport, proceed to the baggage claim area to purchase your tickets, which currently cost $21.00 per adult and $17.00 per child one-way or $34.00 per adult and $27.00 per child round trip. (subject to change)

Rooms & Suites

1. How can I request early check-in/late checkout?
Simply call the front desk on the day of your departure and we will accommodate you based on availability.

2. Can I bring my pet?
The Buena Vista Palace does not allow pets with the exception of special-needs-assistance dogs (proper certificate required).

3. Can I add rooms to my reservation at a later date?
Yes, you may add rooms to your reservation based on availability. However, the room rate you have at the time of the initial booking is not guaranteed - prices are based on availability and current rates and are subject to change.

4. How can I book rooms that are next to each other?
You may request adjoining or connecting rooms at the time you make your reservation in the Special Requests section. We will do our utmost to honor reservation requests.

5. Is Internet available in the rooms?
Wired and Wireless Internet access provided by AT&T is available in all guest rooms and suites and included in our nightly resort fee; wireless Internet service is available in most public areas and restaurants for a fee.

6. Do you partner with any Frequent Flyer travel programs? How many points can I get for staying here?
We do not partner with any Frequent Flyer travel programs at this time.

7. Can I upgrade to a different room once I get to the hotel?
You may inquire about a room upgrade at time of check in and we will be happy to honor your request based on availability at that time. An upgrade fee may apply.

8. Can I request and reserve a specific room?
While we do our best to honor your needs, we cannot guarantee a specific room or location.

9. What is the Resort Fee, and what is included?
Our Resort Fee is currently $21.95 + tax nightly and is charged directly to your room each night. The fee is charged in addition to your room rate and includes many of the hotel amenities including self parking, in-room wireless internet (multiple devices), our 24-hour Cyber Cafe, daily New York Times newspaper available in the lobby from Monday to Friday, in-room Showtime and other select cable channels, daily membership to our fitness center & Spa, Pool Concierge Service, Disney Bus Transportation, and certain telephone calls up to thirty minutes. Many hotels charge for these items individually, however, we include all of these amenities in our daily Resort Fee for your convenience.

10. What are package prices based on? How many people I can reserve a package for?
Package pricing is based on two people. Rates indicate single/double additional charge for 3rd or 4th person. Package inclusions do not apply to 3rd and 4th persons unless specifically indicated. (In other words, package pricing applies to your room rate only, not your selected package activity, unless specifically noted otherwise.)

11. Does the "Best Rate Guarantee" apply to packages?
Packages are already based on the best value for each individual package component, so by purchasing a package, you're essentially getting the best rate.


12. How do you ensure that my personal and billing information is truly secure?
We're committed to protecting your privacy and your personal information. Information provided to us is protected against unauthorized access through state-of-the-art firewall technology. The connection between computer and us is protected through industry-standard SSL encryption technology. Our Privacy Policy describes the rules we follow to ensure your information is not shared inappropriately with third parties.

15. How can I get a copy of my bill? I usually drop my key in the box when I check out.
You may call our hotel communications department at 407-827-2727. You may be required to give us your dates of stay and contact information (fax number, e-mail address or home mailing address) in order to receive a copy of your bill.

16. What services do you provide for guests with special needs?
The Buena Vista Palace is in full compliance with ADA guidelines. Our Parking & Building Access, Common Areas, Conference Rooms, Restaurants & Lounges, Recreation Areas and Guestrooms are all fully equipped with wheelchair-accessible features. 17. Are there car rental facilities close to the resort?

19. What precautions will the hotel take if there is a hurricane in the area during my stay?
The resort offers a comprehensive hurricane preparedness plan, meaning all employees are prepared and informed in the case of a hurricane watch or warning.

20. What are your policies pertaining to refunds and cancellations due to hurricanes?
Our current cancellation deposit is applied at the time of booking. Exceptions to this rule are noted on a case-by-case basis.

Vacation Activities

21. Do you provide transportation to the theme parks?
Yes, we provide transportation to all Disney Parks, including Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney MGM Studios, Epcot Center, Typhoon Lagoon, and Blizzard Beach. The cost of Disney Transportation is covered in your daily Resort Service Fee. Transportation is available to other attractions for a fee. 22. How far away are you from Disney Attractions?
We are conveniently located just across from the Downtown Disney Complex, which includes shopping, dining, and the night life of Pleasure Island. All Disney Parks are within a seven mile radius.

27. What are some of the local holidays that I should keep in mind when booking a stay? Are there certain times when some "must-see" attractions are closed?
